In order to recreate this personable experience, we offer the following special touches that make us unique.

Free Gift Wrapping

ForeverJewelers.com would be happy to gift wrap your purchase(s) for you, if you would like. Let us know when you place your order over the phone and if you'd like to add a gift card, we can do that too. If your gift is for a special occasion or specific holiday, tell us and we'll try to match the appropriate wrapping paper.

Wish/Gift List

If there is one comment we frequently hear more often than others, it's that we have too many beautiful pieces of jewelry! While we do take pride in this, we know it can be difficult for our customers to keep track of the items they wish to purchase or have purchased for them.

To remedy the situation, we have incorporated MyGiftList.com into our website. This is a free service provided by this company that allows you to create your personal/ private gift registry. You can even link the items in your list to the web site to make online shopping that much easier. Plus, you can specify an occasion or a gift giver. This affords you more control over who views the items on your list. To top everything off, there is a handy reminders section to help you keep track of important dates and your to-do list.

Appraisals

ForeverJewelers.com can provide an insurance appraisal, at your request, on items purchased through our website that are valued equal to or greater than $500.00, for no additional charge. You must make your request at the time of purchase. Should you require an appraisal for an item of lesser value that you are purchasing, then please conact us. There will be a fee of $20.00 for each item to be appraised.

ForeverJewelers.com can also appraise your jewelry that was not purchased through our store. The cost is $65.00 for the first item and $25.00 for any additional items.

This is an insurance appraisal that is intended to be filed with your insurance company so that in the event of loss or theft you may make a more precise claim. ForeverJewelers.com is not to be held responsible for any losses incurred and does not grant any warranties with this certificate of appraisal other than its intention, to provide documentation of jewelry for insurance needs. Please consult your insurance company for specific details regarding this matter.

Sizing Rings

Because of the unique nature of our products and their individuality there may be a need to have some jewelry altered or made a different size.  Because, unlike many online jewelry stores today, we are a full-service jeweler, ForeverJewelers.com is happy to provide this service for you.

If you are purchasing a new ring from us, generally we will size it up or down up to one whole size free of charge. If the ring requires additional sizing, then that fee will be determined by the type of metal, the number of gemstones set in the ring and the width and thickness of the shank being sized. Rings being sized smaller than one size will be charged the initial sizing fee. If a ring has been sized and returned, the full price for sizing the ring will be charged even if the sizing was free. Not all rings can easily be sized and we will suggest special ordering the item in your size, if this is the case. Some rings may not be sized up or down more than one or two sizes without disrupting side stones. There may be additional fees depending on the number or type of gemstones set in the ring. Price is subject to change due to fluctuating metal markets.

Engraving

If you would like an item engraved, we can normally provide this service for you. Personalizing your gift to a loved one will make it even more memorable and special. Many of our rings, bracelets and watches can be engraved. The size of your message will depend on how much space is available. Please keep this in mind.

We offer script or block lettering for your message. Pricing varies depending upon the item to be engraved and the amount of engraving. There is a $15.00 set-up fee per item being engraved and a $0.75 charge per letter, number or character that is engraved. Please call us toll-free or email us for additional information. In addition to engraving jewelry, we are also able to engrave giftables such as gifts for baby, weddings and special occasions, and corporate and business. Our in-house engraving machine allows us to engrave on a variety of surfaces including flat or curved glass. As well, we can emboss with goldleaf on certain leather goods. Changing Prongs

One focal point of ForeverJewelers.com is our amazing selection of unique and interesting diamond engagement rings and semi-mountings. Realizing that our customers have various needs and different likings, we are very willing to accommodate whenever possible. If a diamond from one mounting should seem more appealing set on another, then we can normally do that. Additionally, should you like to purchase a semi-mounting without the center stone, this is not a problem.

One question we are frequently asked is whether a ring can hold a specific shape or size center stone. Many of our semi-mountings have removeable prongs, called heads. These heads are actually soldered to the ring and can normally be changed. Occassionally, if a head is changed to one that is smaller or larger, then the finger size of the ring may also be affected. If the ring size should need to be corrected after changing the head, then this would result in additional fees.

If another jeweler will be setting your diamond, we often recommend that this jeweler also select the appropriate head and solder it to the ring. In doing so, this jeweler will have complete oversight concerning how the diamond is set and there can be no disagreement concerning the selection of prongs.

If this is not an option or you would simply prefer that Forever Jewelers make the change, then we will accommodate you. The cost to change a head will vary depending on the metal used, number of prongs, size, shape and level of service. All head changes include the cost of the head, soldering the new head, polishing, steam cleaning and rhodium plating when appropriate.

Setting Center Stones

Each ring presents different circumstances with regard to setting a center stone. The cost in doing so will depend on the size and shape of the gemstone and the type of setting it will be put into. With these factors in mind, prices can range from $75.00 up to $345.00, or more.

General pricing for setting 1.00 carat round center stones, not including the cost of prongs, is $195.00. Setting fancy shape 1.00 carat center stones, not including the cost of prongs, is approximately $250.00. Please call us toll free, 1-866-986-2248, or send an email for more information.

The chart below outlines pricing for the labor of setting various size round gemstones in standard four or six-prong solitaire heads. Round gemstones that are not "diamond-cut" may cost additional money. Pricing for fancy shape gemstones may vary, as well. Please contact us for further information. Price is subject to change.

Express Service- the gemstone will be set within 1-3 business days depending on when we receive your order.
Regular Service- the gemstone will be set within 5-7 business days depending on when we receive your order.

What we require is that a minimum deposit of 20% is put down to place the item on hold. Thereafter, we require, at minimum, regular monthly payments until the balance is paid in full within a 6 month period. If any sizing or alteration is required, then this work will be completed after the layaway is paid in full. Items not paid off within the 6 month period are subject to a minimum surcharge of $25.00 or 10% of the remaining balance, whichever is greater. This fee will recur montly until the balance is paid in full.

Items that are Special or Custom Orders will not begin production until 50% of the purchase price has been paid towards the layaway. Special Order Layaways that are cancelled or returned will be subject to either a 20% or 50% re-stocking fee depending on the item. Custom Order Layaways that are cancelled will be subject to a 50% re-stocking fee. Please see our Return Policy for more information. Any remaining funds will be held as store credit.

If an in-stock item is placed on layaway and cancelled after 2 calendar days, but before 14 calendar days have passed, then a 3.5% fee based on the deposit amount will be assessed and the remaining money will be refunded.

If 15 calendar days, or thereafter, from the time that an in-stock item is placed on layaway a customer decides against purchasing their item or ceases with regular monthly payments and has been contacted, yet does not comply, then the initial 20% deposit will be forfeit and any other money that has been applied to the purchase will be held as store credit. Store credit that is not used within 6 months will be forfeit.

Additionally, if we do not receive regular monthly payments and we have attempted to contact the customer, then the item on layaway may be placed for sale and the initial 20% deposit will be forfeit and any other money that has been applied to the purchase will be held as store credit. Store credit that is not used within 6 months will be forfeit.

If an in-stock layaway is fulfilled, but the customer is unhappy with their purchase and wishes to return their purchase for whatever reason, then a 20% re-stocking fee will be assessed and the remaining money will be issued as store credit. Items purchased with store credit do not qualify for free shipping.

If any layaway is fulfilled, but the customer is unhappy with their purchase due to a manufacturer defect or other imperfection, then Forever Jewelers reserves the right to fix or replace the item. Shipping charges may be additional to the customer.

You may pay for your purchase(s) by personal check or U.S. money order only if you have spoken to a ForeverJewelers.com Representative first. Simply call our toll free telephone number, 1-866-986-2248, with the product number of the item that you would like to purchase. Checks and money orders must be made out in U.S. dollars for the total amount of your order, including shipping, if applicable. Checks must include a valid nine-digit bank routing number (ABA code) on the bottom of the check. Please note that payment by check does take longer to process and only after the check has cleared our bank and the funds have been deposited will we be able to ship your purchase.
